The role Sales Assistants are the heartbeat of our business, consistently delivering outstanding customer service year-round. We're seeking individuals who are not just passionate and motivated but also enthusiastic about showcasing our beautiful products. As an excellent team player, you'll actively engage in giving and receiving feedback, contributing to the growth of our collective skills. You'll go beyond the basics by asking insightful questions to understand each customer's needs, and showcasing our products through captivating demonstrations. Support their purchasing decisions by confirming interest through thoughtful questions and securing sales. Your role includes offering shop tours with intelligent link sales, crafting personalized routines, and providing pampering sit-down consultations, including decadent hand and arm massages as part of your daily routine. Through in-depth training on our products and ingredients, you'll become a Lush Ambassador, embodying our ethics and values to our customers. Your crucial role will help create the ultimate experience for our guests, ensuring we offer the best service on the high street! Key Information Contract: Temporary Sales Assistant Hours available: 12 hours per week Must give 3 full days' availability, including one weekend day Must be available to work either Christmas Eve or Boxing Day Trial Shift: 26th and 27th September & 2nd and 3rd October & 9th and 10th October Key Responsibilities Providing 5-star customer experience consistently, going above and beyond for our customers to be a day maker You will be a Lush Ambassador, championing our ethics and values during consultations Engage with customers through active listening to understand and establish their needs, recommend products, and provide relevant information and demonstrations. Providing sit-down consultations and bespoke routines to fulfil the customers' needs Providing the ultimate Customer Experiences with Arts of Services, these include Hand & Arm Massages, Scalp, On the Face, and On the foot demos! Being adaptable and solutions-focused, as no two days in retail are the same! Operating our till systems - you will be cash-handling trained Stocking products on the shop floor, ensuring our products are clean and inviting to customers Skills and Experience Customer Service: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and understanding customer needs Teamwork: Capable of collaborating with team members to achieve store goals, and maintaining a positive and supportive work environment. Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to engage customers, actively listen to their needs, and provide relevant product information. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, handle challenging situations, and work effectively under pressure. Problem-solving: Skill in identifying and resolving customer issues or complaints, finding appropriate solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Organisation: Aptitude for maintaining an organized store environment, managing inventory, and creating visually appealing product displays. Nice to have but training will be provided: Ethical and Sustainable Mindset: Understanding and alignment with Lush's commitment to ethical sourcing, sustainability, and cruelty-free practices. Sales and Product Knowledge: Ability to promote and sell products effectively, demonstrate product features, and provide accurate information to customers.
