Oxford Data Plan produces daily KPI estimates on publicly listed companies for institutional investors. Our clients ask sharp, specific questions about our data, and how quickly and clearly we answer them shapes how much they trust it. This is a junior role for someone who wants to become the person who knows our product inside out. You'll work alongside our customer support lead, helping keep on top of client queries, getting answers from the people who build the data, and turning the patterns you see into better documentation for everyone. What you'll do Support the day-to-day running of the customer support inbox: help triage incoming queries and respond to clients so nothing goes unanswered Investigate questions about our data, coverage, and methodology, working with the tech and data teams to get accurate answers Act as the bridge between clients and internal teams, translating technical explanations into clear, client-ready language Track recurring questions and spot where our documentation falls short, then feed those gaps to the content team so they get fixed at the source Keep support materials, FAQs, and internal notes current as the product changes What we're looking for An undergraduate degree, or at least 3 years of professional work experience in its place Excellent written communication. You can explain something technical to someone who isn't technical, and you write clearly under time pressure A collaborative instinct. Much of this job is knowing who to ask and how to ask well Curiosity and appetite to learn. You'll be surrounded by finance, data, and engineering, and we want someone who digs into the "why" rather than just passing messages along Organised and reliable in a shared inbox. You can hold several open threads without dropping any Nice to have Basic SQL. You don't need to write complex queries, but being able to look something up yourself will make you faster Some experience with data analysis or data science Experience taking complex ideas and presenting them simply to a less technical audience Exposure to customer-facing work, financial data, or SaaS support Interest in financial markets or alternative data
