For more information, visit wppmedia.com. 3732 • Assistant Finance Analyst • EMEA (Parental Leave Cover, 12 Month FTC) Role Summary and Impact The role of the Assistant Finance Analyst will be a key member of the WPP Media EMEA Finance team, reviewing financial data from across the EMEA region. This role will be responsible for preparing Quarterly report submissions from EMEA markets, assisting the Finance Analysts during monthly/quarterly/annual reporting cycles and working with the Intercompany Analyst. There is plenty of opportunity for development for the right person within both WPP Media and the wider WPP group. The ideal candidate would be a proactive, hardworking individual looking for a challenge in the next step of your career. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting with P&L and balance sheet checks and following up with markets to correct any differences. Assisting with TB to Cartesis/ Accrued Revenue/ Other Assets & Liabilities analysis preparation. Supporting the Finance Analysts in reviewing the integrity of P&L and Balance Sheet data submitted by markets. Performing Access Review checks ensuring that users have the correct access, including emailing the markets for confirmation of users. Keep the Senior Regional Personnel updated on all matters of significance – key aspect ‘no surprises’. Other adhoc projects as and when required. Skills and Experience • Experience within a finance team a plus • Proficient in Excel • Have a methodical and organised approach to tasks • Interested in problem solving and investigative work • Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload • Experience with consolidation software advantageous (e.g. SAP BFC or Hyperion HFM). • Foreign languages a distinct advantage though not essential. • An outgoing, tenacious (non-aggressive) personality.
