Job Description We're looking for new people to join our welcoming and experienced team here at the Governor's House as waiting on staff. Our large pub has a restaurant, 10 hotel rooms, and a 200 cover garden, in leafy Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester. We are looking for staff to work floor duties, on a part-time basis. Experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided, but: - you must be over the age of 18 - availability to work evenings and weekends, up to closing time, is essential (0.00 Sun-Thurs, 01.00 Fri & Sat) - you must be able to get to/from work, including at evenings and weekends. (public transport is limited) Qualifications As a member of our Waiting Staff, you will… Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit. Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after our customers whilst they dine with us. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness on shift in order to provide a welcoming and safe environment for all our customers. What you’ll bring… Willingness to learn and expand your skills. Have a great eye for detail, making sure the pub is immaculate and welcoming at all times. A passion for giving great service and making sure every customer receives a warm welcome. A positive can-do attitude and be a real team player. Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
