United Utilities operates across a number of contracts across our business, predominantly wastewater network services as part of the AMP 7 period plan. The Team support reactive and planned maintenance across the CCTV & Jetting and Civils teams, further supported by our in house Traffic Management Division and Capital Projects covering the entire UU network. Key Responsibilities: Maintain great customer service and communication Adhere to company absence reporting procedure Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work. Carry out site specific risk assessments and discuss any changes or amendments with team member and site supervisor Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Ensuring on and off sites are live to avoid any penalties with highways permits Wearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bringing to your supervisor’s attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment. Carry out groundwork tasks such as digging trenches, laying pipes, spot repairs and preparing surfaces for construction.
