Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE | 40 Hours per Week Looking for an experienced and confident Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role that offers autonomy and a genuinely supportive team? At Staines Vets for Pets, we're looking for a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, growing practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied first-opinion caseload, is comfortable with sole charge, and values working in a collaborative environment where wellbeing and work-life balance are genuinely prioritised. About the Practice Our experienced team is made up of six dedicated colleagues who work closely together to deliver excellent patient care: * 1 x Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon * 3 x Registered Veterinary Nurses (including our Practice Manager and Practice Owner) * 2 x Client Care Assistants With more than 30 years of combined experience, we've built a supportive culture where everyone works together, shares knowledge and enjoys coming to work. Looking after our people is just as important as looking after our patients. You'll have access to a range of wellbeing support, including: • Mental Health First Aider • Clinical Supervisor • Physical and mental wellbeing support • Trained Workplace First Aiders A Well-Equipped Practice Our modern, purpose-built practice is fully equipped to support a high standard of clinical care, with facilities including: • In-house laboratory • Digital X-ray • Dental X-ray • Dedicated dental suite and operating theatre • Ultrasound • Tonometry • Glass-fronted kennels Our caseload is predominantly routine consultations and preventative healthcare, with a selection of more complex cases providing variety and ongoing clinical interest. The Role This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, including: • Tuesday • Friday: 9:00am – 7:00pm • Every other Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm * 1 hour lunch break About You We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who: • Has solid experience in small animal first-opinion practice • Is confident with routine consultations and surgery • Is comfortable working sole charge as required • Enjoys working independently while contributing to a collaborative team • Builds strong relationships with clients through excellent communication • Delivers high clinical standards with a calm, professional approach Why Join Staines Vets for Pets?
