Project Manager – Fire Doors Fire Door Inspection Solutions (FDIS) – part of the IDSL Group Location: North London (Regional) | Full-time | 40 hours per week Salary: £50,000 per annum plus bonus Fire Door Inspection Solutions (FDIS), part of the IDSL Group, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Operations team. This is a key, site-based role responsible for managing multiple fire door inspection, remediation and installation projects from initial planning through to completion. You’ll oversee delivery across a number of live sites, working closely with Supervisors, joiners, customers, suppliers and internal teams to make sure projects are properly planned, fully resourced and delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards. Supervisors will manage individual site teams, while you’ll maintain overall responsibility across multiple projects and sites, ensuring work stays on programme and customers remain fully updated throughout delivery. Fire Door Inspection Solutions also manufactures its fire doors in-house, giving the business greater control over quality, supply and delivery, while allowing you to work closely with both our operational and manufacturing teams. What you’ll be doing Managing multiple fire door projects from start to finish Overseeing Supervisors and site teams across multiple live projects Planning and coordinating labour, materials and site requirements Organising materials and ensuring everything is in place ahead of works Managing project programmes, timelines and resources Monitoring project progress, performance and key milestones Completing project and site reporting Managing waste and general site requirements Liaising directly with customers and keeping them updated throughout delivery Coordinating suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams Preparing and managing RAMS and COSHH documentation Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, health & safety requirements and company procedures Carrying out regular site visits and quality checks Identifying and resolving issues that could impact programme or delivery Maintaining accurate project documentation and records Supporting continuous improvement across project delivery What we’re looking for Previous Project Management experience within the fire door industry Strong knowledge of fire door installation, remediation and compliance Experience managing multiple live projects and site teams Strong leadership and team coordination skills Excellent planning and organisational ability Confident customer communication and relationship management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Good understanding of RAMS, COSHH and site health & safety Ability to manage changing priorities and tight deadlines Good Microsoft Office and project management system skills Full UK driving licence Desirable Joinery experience or a joinery background Formal Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP Experience working with commercial or public sector clients What we offer Competitive Salary plus bonus 40 hours per week 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Life assurance – 2x salary Access to a discount portal Training and career progression opportunities Opportunity to develop your career within Fire Door Inspection Solutions and the wider Group About Fire Door Inspection Solutions, IDSL and PTSG Fire Door Inspection Solutions provides specialist fire-door inspections, maintenance, repairs and replacements across the UK.
