This is more than a job. It’s a journey on which you rise.    YOUR ROLE   As a Warehouse Operative at our site in Barton under Needwood you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting a high-profile customer. This is a critical role within the operation and directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and operation.   The rotating shift time for this position is 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 Monday • Friday, with a total salary of up to £28,836.72 per annum including a base package, plus monthly supplements and bonuses depending on performance, attendance, and manual handling equipment usage.   What you can expect from the role:   • Temperature-controlled warehouse with comfortable working conditions all year round. • Clean, organised and professional environment with high operational standards. • Minimal manual lifting, with processes designed to support safe and sensible handling. • Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) available, with full training and support provided where required (not used in all areas). • Inclusive team culture, with approximately 40% of our workforce being female, reflecting our commitment to diversity and inclusion. • Supportive development environment with opportunities to build your skills and progress your career.   WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?   Reporting to the Compliance Team - the role will you see you focusing on maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance across the warehouse by carrying out hygiene duties, waste management, equipment operation, and routine compliance checks. This role ensures the facility remains audit-ready and aligned with company and regulatory standards.    • Carry out routine cleaning and hygiene activities across all warehouse areas • Ensure aisles, workspaces, and storage locations are clean, organised, and hazard-free • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in line with company policies and hygiene standards • Manage waste streams, including segregation and disposal, in accordance with site procedures • Operate and maintain baling equipment safely for cardboard and recyclable materials • Ensure waste areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with environmental requirements • Safely operate scrubber machines to clean warehouse floors • Perform basic checks and maintenance on cleaning equipment to ensure operational readiness • Report faults or equipment issues promptly • Carry out routine compliance checks in line with internal standards and external regulations • Support audit preparation and ensure records are accurately maintained • Identify and report any non-compliance issues or risks to the Compliance Team • Carry out additional warehouse operative duties as required to support business needs • Maintain a consistently clean and safe warehouse environment • Ensure waste is handled efficiently and in compliance with guidelines • Support the site in achieving audit readiness at all times • Contribute to the continuous improvement of hygiene and facility standards     WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
