About the role We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our finance team to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial information, supporting operational decision-making, and driving financial performance across the organisation. Working closely with operational managers, departmental leaders, and senior stakeholders, you'll provide meaningful financial analysis and reporting that helps shape business strategy and supports the achievement of key financial objectives. This is a varied role that offers excellent exposure across the business, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to both finance and operational teams. What you’ll be doing Day to day, you'll be responsible for the management of accrued revenue processes, revenue recognition calculations, framework commission calculations, and the investigation of costs and revenue across individual contracts. Support the production of monthly management accounts Process payroll journals, prepare accruals and prepayments Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle Undertake commercial reviews with management teams, and providing ad hoc financial analysis What we’re looking for This post is ideal for someone who enjoys analysing financial data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating complex information into clear and actionable insights. You'll be confident building relationships with stakeholders at all levels and comfortable challenging and influencing where necessary to achieve the best outcomes for the business. Hold, or working towards professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CIPFA qualification (essential) Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or similar finance role A strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting Intermediate Excel skills and experience using financial systems will be highly advantageous Why Join Us You’ll be part of a supportive team that values expertise, reliability and great customer service.
