Culina Group is a market leading food and drink logistics provider across the chilled and ambient temperature ranges, providing warehousing, distribution, contract packing and a series of value added solutions Job Description We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our CML team in Telford, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK. This is a permanent day driving role offering full-time stability, and the opportunity to be part of a trusted logistics operation. Shift patterns available 5on 3off Days Sunday to Thursday Days Wednesday to Sunday Days Shift Start Windows between 14:00 - 18:00 for all shift patterns Due to the nature of the products being delivered, our drivers will have 3 hour start windows to ensure they are flexible depending on volume. Pay rates Our HGV Drivers have strong earning potential, with OTE earnings ranging from £44812 TO £56335 depending on shift pattern, overtime and applicable allowances. What you’ll be doing: Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK. Complete nationwide deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, Load and unload where required using PPT equipment. Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies. Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office. Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards. Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules. Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required. Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times. Take advantage of night-out runs where available, if this is something you are interested in. Qualifications Possession of LGV Class C+E Licence and valid DCPC Minimum 6 months experience driving LGV Full UK Driving License Excellent attention to detail Ability to work without direct supervision Adaptable and methodical approach to work/ training Conscientious and reliable Professional and approachable Excellent communication skills Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines Able to work using own initiative or as part of a team Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours Compensation: GBP 44812 • GBP 56335 - yearly
