Graze - Management Accountant

The Role in a snapshot The Management Accountant is a key finance partner to graze's factory and supply chain functions, owning monthly performance reporting, forecasting and variance analysis for factory and supply chain costs. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Operations and Product Development to provide financial insight, to support in strategic decision-making and to help drive commercial value across the business. What you'll be responsible for... ➔Financial Reporting You prepare and deliver monthly financial performance reports for the factory and supply chain, highlighting risks, opportunities and the key trends of COGs and factory costs. ➔Forecasting & Budgeting You run the monthly and quarterly forecasting process for factory and supply chain costs with the supply chain operations teams, and support budgeting and long-range planning across the business. ➔Variance Analysis You analyse variances against budget and forecast, working with the team to understand drivers and providing clear recommendations and corrective actions. ➔Business Partnering You partner with Supply Chain, Operations and Product Development, acting as a trusted advisor to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. What we're looking for... Who this role is for: A part qualified accountant (or equivalent) with experience in a factory or manufacturing finance role. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing or consumer goods. A proactive, solutions-focused person with excellent attention to detail. Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders, both financial and non-financial. ★Part qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or equivalent experience ★Previous experience in a factory finance or manufacturing finance role desirable ★Strong analytical and financial modelling skills ★Excellent communication skills, able to present financial information in a simple and engaging way ★Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using financial reporting systems ★Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders Why work for us?
