Ki’s teams have varied backgrounds and work together in an agile, cross-functional way to build the very best experience for its customers. Ki has big ambitions but needs more excellent minds to challenge the status-quo and help it reach new horizons.
Where you come in?
We're an algorithmic underwriting business transforming the insurance market through technology, data, and innovation.

What you will be doing: 🖋️

Produce, enhance and continually improve management reporting and financial insight provided to Executive Committee members, shareholders and senior stakeholders, translating complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.
Lead analysis to improve capital efficiency within the planning process, assessing how business growth, portfolio mix, loss ratios, reinsurance structures and expenses influence capital utilisation and returns.
Partner closely with Underwriting, Actuarial, Capital Modelling, Outwards Reinsurance and Technology teams to incorporate business assumptions into forecasts, collaborating on outputs where appropriate and ensuring robust planning processes.
Present plans, forecasts and financial analysis to senior stakeholders, providing constructive feedback while maintaining positive, collaborative relationships across the business.
Develop and maintain visual reporting, dashboards and self-service analytics tools that enhance business understanding and support data-driven decision-making.
Contribute to ROI frameworks and financial evaluations supporting underwriting and strategic investment decisions.
Support the ongoing evolution of FP&A processes through automation, technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
Provide resilience and cross-functional support across FP&A activities, including expense management and reporting, ensuring effective coverage during peak periods and business-critical cycles.
Professional accounting qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent), actuarial qualification, or equivalent analytical background gained through financial due diligence, transaction services, strategy consulting or a related discipline.
Deep understanding of insurance finance, financial planning, forecasting and performance management.
Solid analytical capability with proficiency in financial modelling and Excel skills and the ability to evaluate, discuss and explain complex financial outputs.
Commercially focused with a keen interest in how businesses generate value, allocate capital and achieve strategic objectives.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to tailor messages for a range of audiences, including Executive Committee members and non-finance stakeholders.
Experience creating dashboards and visual insights using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics platforms.
Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve decision-making, efficiency and financial processes.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, navigating changing priorities and contributing to the development of evolving processes and responsibilities.
Exposure to planning, reporting or data tools such as Anaplan, Tableau or SQL would be advantageous.
