Procurement Co-ordinator

Job Title – Procurement Coordinator Location • Manchester  What you will be doing:  An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Coordinator to join the team at Galliford Try    What you will be doing: • Prepare and issue supplier enquiries and requests for quotation. • Assess supplier quotations and provide recommendations to the Supply Chain & Procurement and Project teams. • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers.  • Support the procurement of project materials, plant hire, goods and services to meet project requirements. • Manage the requisition-to-purchase process, ensuring compliance with Company processes, procurement procedures and Preferred Supplier Agreements. • Assist in monitoring the P2P (Procurement to Payment) process, resolving invoice queries, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. • Assist in managing live plant hire reports.  • Help ensure the timely and compliant placement of orders, supporting successful project delivery. • Assist with monitoring supplier performance and resolving supplier-related issues where required. • Provide administrative and operational support to the wider Supply Chain & Procurement team as needed.   Competency Requirements • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Be positive, enthusiastic and personable - a team player. • Be pro-active, organised and professional. • Have a desire to learn. • Experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet.   What We Can Offer in Return: With an impressive order book of over £4.3 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
