Job Title: Business Development Manager Responsible to: Head of Partnerships Level: Manager Minster Law is a personal injury law firm with an established and expanding Serious Injury practice operating across England and Wales, acting exclusively for claimants in complex, high-value cases. Our business is known for its technical depth, disciplined approach to case strategy and sustained focus on long-term client outcomes. We’re is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the charge in securing new sources of high-value and complex serious injury claims work. It's a role that needs strong commercial instincts, but genuine care and compassion too, for the people at the heart of every case who are often facing life changing injuries. What you'll be doing Developing and executing a strategic business development plan to win new serious injury sources of work. Generating and converting case recommendation agreements and strategic collaborations. Building and managing a portfolio of long-term, high-quality partnerships that keep growing. Keeping your finger on the pulse of the personal injury and serious injury market, spotting opportunities before anyone else does. Representing Minster Law at industry events and being a credible, trusted voice across the sector. What you'll bring At least 5 years' business development experience within legal services. An existing network of contacts within the serious injury ecosystem across the UK Genuine care and compassion for people facing life changing injuries, and a clear understanding of why that matters in this work A track record of winning new relationships and hitting revenue growth targets. Sharp commercial instincts, strong negotiation skills, and the confidence to work independently A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly, including to our Wakefield office and other sites across Yorkshire & Humber Travel Regular travel including Minster Law’s Wakefield office.
