We are now looking for a Senior Campaign Operations Manager to join our
Advertising team!
Digital advertising operations role situated in the Advertising department of
GNM responsible for the trafficking, managing and optimisation of advertising
campaigns across the Guardian’s digital portfolio.
About the role
• Manage workflow for all Tier 2, and 3 digital campaigns/requests that run
across the department, providing coverage where appropriate for tier 3
digital campaigns and requests.
• Liaise with customers both internally and externally to chase creative and
communicate on delivery goals to ensure that campaigns goals are met, and
provide end of campaign reporting and analysis.
• Maintain necessary technical knowledge to understand the full campaign
delivery process, enabling accurate and proficient creative quality
assurance, trafficking and troubleshooting of all campaigns (audio, video and
display including mobile).
• Work with development/product teams to implement new technologies
• Ensure products are compliant, make strategic sense, and are evolving with
the market
• Ensure that the set up, optimisation and delivery of digital advertising
campaigns is completed quickly, without errors and we are giving great
service to the client and the sales team
* support the Advertising Operations Manager as needed, either helping to
troubleshoot campaigns, lead specific projects, or provide support if they
are unavailable.
About you
• High proficiency in Google Ad Manager
• Proactive at communicating with key internal and external stakeholders to
share insights and to raise challenges & solutions.
• Experience with HTML, FTP, Photoshop, Flash, Javascript
• Confident liaising directly with sales and tech colleagues as well as
technical support teams and clients to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Can demonstrate exceptional workload prioritisation, ability to work to
deadlines and composure
