About the role
We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our HR team and provide day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle.
Working closely with the HR Manager, you'll help keep our HR operation running smoothly across recruitment, onboarding, employee support, HR systems, development and engagement.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You'll work with employees, managers, candidates, recruitment agencies and external providers, so you'll need to be comfortable dealing with people and managing a range of priorities.
We're also looking for someone with ambition and potential. You don't need to know everything from day one, but we want someone who is keen to learn, takes ownership and wants to build their HR career. As your knowledge and confidence grow, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility.
Key responsibilities

Coordinate recruitment from vacancy through to offer and pre-employment checks.

Provide first-line HR support to employees and managers.
Coordinate key employee lifecycle processes, including probation and leavers.
Track and manage the BPSS process

Keep employee data and HR records accurate and up to date.
Maintain key people trackers and support the monthly people reporting process.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and systems.
Learning, development & early careers
Coordinate employee training and development requests.
Maintain training records and liaise with external providers.
Support early careers framework including apprenticeships, graduates, placements and relationships with schools and colleges.
Benefits & engagement
Manage the day-to-day administration of the KSG benefits platform.
Liaise with our benefits broker and providers to ensure information is accurate and benefits are working effectively.
Support company-wide engagement activities and events.
Help deliver people-related communications and initiatives.

Confident communicating with employees, managers and external stakeholders.
Comfortable using HR systems and handling people data.
Able to manage competing priorities and take ownership of tasks.
Desirable
CIPD qualification or working towards one.

Recruitment and/or recruitment agency experience.
Experience with BPSS or other pre-employment screening.

Proactive – sees what needs doing, takes ownership and follows things through.
Confident – comfortable asking questions, chasing information and challenging when appropriate.
Ambitious – wants to broaden their HR knowledge and take on greater responsibility over time.
Your development
This role offers the opportunity to develop well beyond traditional HR administration.
You'll initially focus on building a strong understanding of KSG, our people, systems and processes. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll have the opportunity to take greater ownership across the HR function and develop your HR advisory skills.
