Do you want to work in Adult Social Care, providing support to adults who would like to choose who provides their social care and support needs?  If you do, then you might be suited to being a Direct Payments Assistant. An  opportunity has arisen for a direct payments assistant to work within our Adult Social Care finance team. You will be supporting people who have chosen to arrange their own care and support via a direct payment. The direct payments team work with the community teams across East Sussex. We cover a telephone line, answering questions from members of the public and internal teams.   You will provide office support to ensure that direct payments are correctly processed and monitored. Our team provide advice and guidance, acting as the main point of contact for direct payments, covering the adult social care systems, direct payment helpline and email inbox.
