About the team Our Learning team shape how colleagues build the functional, technical and management capabilities needed across Argos. Together, the team turns business priorities and colleague insight into practical, inclusive learning experiences that make a measurable difference.   More about the role As Learning Experience Lead, you will translate commercial and organisational objectives into high-level learning experiences and pathways. You will define clear learning and performance outcomes, recommend the right blend of formal, social, informal and on-the-job learning, and apply the 70/20/10 model alongside adult learning, cognitive and behavioural design principles. Day to day, you’ll consult with senior stakeholders and external partners, lead colleague listening and analyse internal and external evidence to form impact-led hypotheses. You’ll shape proof-of-concept pilots, define evaluation measures, and use feedback and performance data to refine solutions.   More about you You are an experienced learning design specialist who can connect business context, learner needs and delivery constraints. You use evidence to make sound design decisions, can explain the rationale behind your recommendations, and are confident influencing stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organisation. You are comfortable briefing and guiding cross-functional teams, mentoring learning designers and solving complex learning challenges You take ownership, challenge constructively and use business context to make decisions. You stay curious, test new approaches and simplify where possible. You listen carefully, seek feedback and build trusted relationships by showing care and respect for different perspectives. Experience working with learning experience platforms, Cornerstone, agile development methods, or in retail, FMCG or another large-scale complex organisation would be useful   Essential criteria • Demonstrated ability to translate commercial or organisational objectives into a learning pathway with defined learning outcomes, deliverables and evaluation measures. • Practical application of curriculum design, adult learning principles and the 70/20/10 model across at least three learning modalities, including facilitated, digital, social or on-the-job learning. • Evidence of applying behavioural, cognitive and human-centred design principles to address a defined learner or performance need. • Experience using learner, colleague or performance data to form a hypothesis, evaluate learning effectiveness and make a documented design improvement. • Experience leading or directing a cross-functional learning delivery group, with clear project requirements, responsibilities, timelines and stakeholder updates.   Help us create learning experiences that engage colleagues, strengthen capability and deliver meaningful business impact.
