We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our
Operational Risk team supporting Payments Enablement. This role is located in
Manchester.
In this Senior Specialist role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
• Provide key support in engagement with the assigned Platform (Payments
Enablement), building relationships and driving first line of defense
ownership of operational risk.
• Provide strong contribution to the identification, assessment, mitigation,
monitoring and reporting of operational risk inherent to business activities
and effectiveness of the control environment.
• Provide key support with the assigned Platfrom’s adherence to the Operational
Risk Management Framework, including the execution and maintenance of Risk &
Control Self Assessments, Operational Risk Limits, Operational Risk Events
and Business Process Change risk assessments.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required.
• Experience in a global, financial, or professional services firm. Risk
management and/or data analytics experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to work with data
and identify risk trends, patterns, and concentrations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (written and
verbal) with ability to articulate clearly views and recommendations.
• Collaborative and team-oriented, demonstrating ability to interact and engage
with a diverse group of people in a variety of functions, across the world.
• Results-oriented, able to work with high productivity in a fast-paced
environment with tight timelines and competing priorities.
• Fully Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau.
• Preferred skills: SQL, Python
