Health Care Assistant | Harrogate Clinic | Permanent | Free Parking & Excellent Benefits |  Spire Harrogate are looking for an Ophthalmic Outpatient Healthcare assistant to join the team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone with experience in an outpatient/clinic/GP Practice . Spire Harrogate Clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals.  Clinic Opening hours -  shifts will range between these times.  • Monday • Friday 0800-20:00 • Saturday 0800-16:00 • Sunday • Closed The responsibilities of this role will include:  • Assisting the team across outpatients and theatres in the provision of exemplary patient care • Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person • Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies The Ideal candidate will have:  • Previous experience of working as an Ophthalmic Outpatient in a clinic or hospital environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Experience in eye testing  • Good team work ethic • Enthusiastic and energetic professional • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care /Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential   We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: * 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays • Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options * 'Spire for you' reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers • Free Bupa wellness screening • Private medical insurance • Life assurance Spire Healthcare is committed to creating an environment that will attract, retain and motivate its people.
