Your Key Responsibilities
* Act as a technical authority on structural compliance, staying ahead of
industry developments.
* Support the delivery of structural engineering services across a wide range
of complex building types.
* Work closely with the HSE/BSR on Higher Risk Buildings under our framework
agreements.
* Provide expert advice to commercial clients on structural design and UK
Building Regulations.
* Review structural assessments, drawings, and calculations to ensure
compliance.
* Build strong relationships with major design consultants, project
stakeholders, and internal teams.
* Maintain accurate project and inspection records.
* Contribute to internal and external training, sharing your expertise with
others.
* Support Associate Directors and Managing Engineers in delivering high‑quality
technical outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
* Degree (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering, ideally working towards
Chartered status.
* Strong technical judgement and the ability to work independently.
* A growth mindset—someone who wants to stretch their capability and take on
increasingly complex work.
* Confidence in supporting and developing others.
* A strategic thinker who can balance detail with broader project objectives.
* Solid understanding of commercial Building Control and structural safety.
