WHAT TO EXPECT
DAY TO DAY
The successfully appointed candidate will have the opportunity to build a deep knowledge of business imperatives and operational issues, as well as the opportunity to fully participate in the business. The Quality function is a site-based team at Lisburn who work closely with all areas of the business including Engineering, Operations and Suppliers to provide quality products to our world-wide customer base.
RESPONSIBILITES
You will join an existing Quality Team supporting Operational Excellence through
Developing and implementing quality standards.
Developing and implementing quality control systems.
Monitoring and analysing quality performance.
Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
Collaborating with operations leaders to develop and implement controls and improvements.
Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
Reviewing certifications, specifications, and processes.
Supporting Supplier Performance Evaluation, SCARs and supplier visits
Lead 8D/Problem Solving activities
NCR / Field returns & handling customer complaints
Control of non conforming product and disposition
Support Internal Audit process
WHAT
YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
A 3rd level qualification in an engineering discipline or 3 years QE experience
Good IT skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Familiar with Health & Safety regulations
