Unlike most providers, we build, own and operate our dedicated fibre optic network and install it directly into the home, meaning we can deliver a super-fast connection at prices the national providers find hard to beat. We’re a relatively new company to the market, but since establishment: We’re the only provider in London offering residential broadband speeds of up to 5Gbps. Our network covers 1.3 million properties in London, which is more than one third of homes in the UK’s capital city. We have over 800,000 properties under wayleave agreement and are currently working in partnership with more than 200 of London’s biggest landlords. We have connected 720 community spaces in 24 boroughs, giving more Londoners free access to fast, reliable broadband. Job purpose: We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and bright candidates with a customer service and network engineering background to help us grow our network and continue to make our customers happy. The critical nature of the infrastructure will require you to work both quickly and carefully. You will need to thrive in a varied and sometimes unstructured environment, be able to provide support to customer service teams, provision services alongside field engineers, resolve issues alongside field-based maintenance team, configure network equipment, and most importantly of all to empathise and turn a potentially unhappy customer into a happy one. 5 Day Shift pattern working ranging from 8 am to 10 pm including weekends (40hrs). What you’ll be doing: Support Customer Services in troubleshooting customer issues. Provide second line support to customers where customer services were unable to solve their problem. Monitor network alarms, swiftly diagnose network faults Direct, and work alongside, the Network Operations Engineering team, and Passive Network Team, to assist in resolving network faults. Provision new customers ranging from residential fibre broadband to more complex business services. Be pro-active, and able to manage your own workload without much oversight from management. The experience we’re looking for you to bring: Experience in GPON,FTTH/FTTC a must University degree or equivalent experience of >4 years >2 years’ experience working with ISP and >3 years’ experience working as a network engineer. CCNA Required Experience of using network equipment – e.g. Cisco/Juniper/Huawei/Adtran Desire to work in an agile, start-up environment and go the ‘extra mile’ to support our delivery of a great customer experience.
