Following recent acquisition activity and as part of our plans for future growth, we are excited to introduce a new Marketing Executive role focused on supporting the growth and development of our fleet management software solution.
Role Purpose
As Marketing Executive, you will be accountable for delivering our marketing strategy and managing a broad range of marketing programmes and promotion activities to support growth targets and strengthen brand awareness of our fleet management solutions. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and key stakeholders to develop compelling marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
In addition,
you will have be focused on digital marketing, social media engagement and events. Your impact will be measured through your contribution to brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation and the successful delivery of marketing initiatives that support our ambitious growth targets.
You will manage marketing communications, digital marketing strategies and promotional activities. This includes developing compelling content, managing social media channels, planning and coordinating events, including user groups, conferences and exhibitions, and working with external agencies as needed. You will translate customer insights and industry knowledge into persuasive marketing messaging that resonates with our target audience and supports business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing communications strategy for our fleet management solutions and manage the annual programme of integrated marketing campaigns.
Expand the company's use of inbound and digital marketing along with social media to increase online engagement and attract new business opportunities.
Build and manage our social media presence across key platforms, including LinkedIn, to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
Plan, coordinate and deliver events including user groups, industry conferences, trade shows and exhibitions.
Create high-impact marketing assets including emails, videos, social media content, website copy, brochures, blogs, case studies, white papers and presentations.
Develop a deep understanding of our customers' industry and translate this into compelling, customer-focused messaging.
Work with colleagues and external agencies to deliver the right mix of marketing activities to acquire new clients and retain our blue-chip client base, including content marketing, online advertising, email campaigns, webinars, trade shows, industry networking, surveys and PR.
Monitor campaign performance using market intelligence, analyst data and competitor analysis to continuously refine and improve marketing effectiveness.
Manage key stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives.
Manage and co-ordinate the Company’s annual user group event.
Stay informed of marketing trends and best practices in B2B technology marketing and the transport sector.
Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Proven B2B marketing experience with a demonstrable track record in digital marketing and communications.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop marketing ideas from concept to implementation.
Experience with digital marketing channels and tools including content marketing, email marketing, and online advertising.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and demonstrated experience building brand presence on LinkedIn.
Excellent copywriting and creative communication skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
Strong networking, relationship building and stakeholder management skills with experience working across multiple teams.
Experience with event planning and management, including user groups, industry conferences and exhibitions is preferred.
Demonstrated experience with social media content strategy and engagement for customer acquisition is preferred.
